Knowledge

In Buddhism we practice to gain practical knowledge that leads to changes in behavior that effect the quality of our lives. Theoretical knowledge, in contest, may be of little, if any, impact on how we live in the world from day to day.

In letting go of self-centered reactivity, we gradually come to live with a mind pervaded with loving kindness, compassion, altruistic joy, and equanimity.
