Barbecue Sauce


4 pounds of onions, chopped
1 rib of celery, chopped
28 ounces of ketchup
20 ounces of Worcestershire sauce
10 ounces of streak sauce
2 tablespoons of prepared mustard
1/4 cup of white vinegar
The juice of 2 lemons
3 (8-ounce) cans of tomato sauce
1 tablespoons of chili powder
5 cloves of garlic, chopped
1/2 gallon of olive oil

Combine all the ingredients in a large pot.

Bring to a simmer and allow to cook  for 3 hours, stirring occasionally, until all is reduced to a mash.

Use when roasting or grilling portobello or other mushrooms, tofu, seitan, or eggplant.
