Habanero peppers
Carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
Cider vinegar (some use white vinegar)
Sugar
With a toothpick pock a few holes in the peppers. Place the peppers in a bowl, jar, or some other non-reactive container.
Place the carrot stick on top of the peppers.
Mix the vinegar and the sugar to taste.
Pour the vinegar-sugar mixture over the carrots and habaneros.
Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate the mixture for a few days.
When serving it is best to remove the habaneros some you avoid harming someone's mouth tissue.
