It is incorrect to think Nirvana is the natural result of the extinction of craving or desire. Nirvana is not the result of anything. If it were a result, then it would be an effect produced by a cause. It would be produced or conditioned. Nirvana is not produced. It is not a cause or an effect. Nirvana is beyond cause and effect. Truth is not a result nor an effect.
