Starving-Student Vegetable Potpourri

2 16-ounce packages of frozen broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, thawed
1 10.75-ounce cans of condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups (8 ounces) of shredded Swiss cheese
2/3 cup of sour cream
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 2.8-ounce cans of french-fried onions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl combine the thawed vegetables, the soup, half of the cheese, the sour cream, and the black pepper.

Stir in half of the french-fried onions.

Spoon the mixture into a lightly buttered baking dish.

Bake covered for 30 minutes.

Uncover the dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese and the remaining french-fried onions.

Bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes more

Serve.

Note: Choose the mixture of vegetables you like best.
