The Buddha's Teaching is Not a Commodity

Think of a squirrel jumping from branch to branch. From tree to tree.

This constant movement is the same with your mind. Jumping from thought to thought. Emotion to emotion.

Stop. Sit. Observe.

Observe without engaging.

That is the practice of meditation.

I recently had a person selling lessons in meditation put a comment on this blog. The comment was in fact a poorly disguised ad.

The Buddha never sold his Teachings.

If you have questions about meditation or want some guidance or lessons, email me at steve.sampson@comcast.net and I will aid you the best I am able - without fee.

One of the sad things about Buddhism coming to the West is people grabbing it and trying to sell it.

If they understood the Teaching they would not sell the Teaching.
