A Universal Constant

Whatever a person frequently thinks about and dwells on that will become the direction of their mind. If you frequently think on anger, you are often angry. If you frequently think of kindness, you often act with understanding.

The Buddha said, “Mind is the forerunner of all action.”

He also said hatred is not ended by hatred but by the cultivation of loving kindness. He said this was a universal constant.
