of endless time just penetrate this phrase: Everything is created by
mind alone.
---Morning Bell Chant---
This stanza is from a
chant that is recited every morning in most Mahayana temples,
monasteries, and Dharma Halls around the world.
It does not mean a thing
does not exist. A table exists. A chair exists. This stanza means we
give name to all things. We define and describe everything. A thing
has this purpose only because we assign it this purpose.
