Glazed Carrots with Onions


2 cups of scrapped and sliced carrots
1 medium onion, diced
1/4 cup of light brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons of butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Steam the sliced carrots in a small amount of water until tender, perhaps 8 minutes. Drain them thoroughly.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the carrots, the onion, the brown sugar, the butter, and the cinnamon.
Simmer, stirring occasionally until the carrots and onions are tender to your liking.
