Mind

A few years ago this image was bouncing all over the internet. It caused much conversation.

I re-post it as an illustration of a foundational Buddhist Teaching.

That teaching: Everything is created by mind alone.

To some this image is funny. To some it's ridiculous.

To some it's very poor taste. To some it's very fashionable.

There are even some who find this image highly erotic.

Whatever our opinion of this image, that opinion is born of our history, our experience.

In fact this image is simply an image. Anything more that anyone of us places on this image is a product of our mind. Sit with this idea.

The practice of the Buddha Dharma is to let go of opinion and observe Reality.
