Tempeh Vegan "Tuna" Spread
1 (8-ounce) package of frozen tempeh, thawed and cut into cubes
1 1/2 tablespoons of cold water
1/2 cup of vegan mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of finely minced red onion
2 tablespoons of finely diced celery
2 tablespoons of minced fresh parsley
2 teaspoons of prepared yellow mustard
2 teaspoons of dried dill
Salt to taste
Steam the tempeh for 20 minutes. Transfer it to a bowl. Immediately add the 1 1/2 tablespoons of water and mash thoroughly mash with a fork or a potato masher.
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Chill thoroughly before serving.
