First Nation Scallion Soup






8 scallions (including the green tops), sliced
8 dried juniper berries
6 cups of water
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro

Combine all the ingredients in a large pot, bring to the boil, lower the heat to simmer, cover, and cook for 40 minutes.

Serve hot.
