Your favorite olive oil
1 red chili, minced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 7-ounce tomato, peeled
Fresh oregano to taste, chopped
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
Crusty bread slices
Heat the oil in a frying pan.
Add the chili and the garlic. Cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
Add the tomato and chop with a knife in the pan.
Add the oregano and the salt and pepper.
Cook until reduced and thickened.
Meanwhile toast the bread slices.
Let the sauce cool and then spread it on the toast.
