Fried Apples


6 tablespoons of cold butter
6 to 8 of your favorite cooking apples, large
1/4 cup of white sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Ground cinnamon to taste

Cut the butter into small pieces and place them into a cold frying pan.

Cut the unpeeled apples into pie slices. Put the slices in the pan. Sprinkle the sugars and the cinnamon over the apple slices.

Cover the pan and turn the heat on low.

Stir the apples occasionally. Allow the sugars to caramelize.

Serve hot with ice cream.
