Without Beginning or End

The great sage, the Buddha, has stated that a limit to the past is not known. The cycling of rebirths is without beginning or end. Indeed, there is no beginning nor end to it. And how could there be a middle to what has no beginning or end? Therefore, thinking in terms of "before, after, and simultaneously" is inappropriate.
