Starving-Student Crispy Baked Potatoes

6 medium baking potatoes
4 tablespoons of butter, melted
1/2 cup of fine cracker crumbs (It's fun once in a while to try seasoned bread crumbs.)
Salt (optional)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Peel the potatoes, wash them, and then wipe them dry,

Roll them in the melted butter, then in the crumbs (to which salt to taste has been added, if you desire).

Place the coated potatoes in a greased baking pan and bake for 1 hour.

Check to make sure they're at the desired tenderness.

Serve.
