Starving-Student Baked Corn

2 eggs
1 cup of whole milk
2 cups of cooked whole kernel corn
1 tablespoon of flour
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
A dash of freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons of melted butter
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
2 tablespoons of melted butter

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Beat the eggs and the milk together.

Combine the egg-milk mixture with the corn, the flour, the sugar, the salt, the pepper, and the first 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

Pour the mixture into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

Mix the bread crumbs with the second 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

Sprinkle the buttered crumbs over the corn.

Bake for 40 minutes, or until the mixture is set.
