Gingered Honey


4 ounces of ginger-root, peeled, sliced paper thin
1 1/3 cups of clover honey, warm

Loosely fill a sterilized pint jar with the ginger-root slices.

Fill with the warm honey, completely covering the ginger.

Cool to room temperature; seal and store in the refrigerator for a least 2 weeks before serving.

Use on toast, pancakes, crackers, biscuits, and the like.

Store the unused ginger honey in the refrigerator.


Note: For the best flavor, please allow the honey to rest for a full 2 weeks before serving.
