Buddhism gives a great message of hope. Perhaps one of the richest contributions it made to contemporary, and subsequent thought was its emphasis on the potentially ethical nature of man, and of the goal attainable partly through its instrumentality, so long as man understands the needs and the reason to cultivate it intelligently.
