Basic Dumplings


2 cups of flour
4 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of water or milk

Sift the flour, the baking powder, and the salt together.

Add the liquid to make a batter that can be dropped from a spoon.

Drop small pieces of the dough onto boiling stew, soup, or broth.

Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

Enjoy.
