Tempeh Sandwich Spread


8 ounces of tempeh
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
2 teaspoon of prepared mustard
2 green onions, chopped
1 or 2 stalks of celery, chopped
1 tablespoon of sweet pickle relish

Steam the tempeh for 20 minutes.

Allow the steamed tempeh to cool, then grate it and mix it with the remaining ingredients.

Cover and refrigerate the spread until welled chilled.

Serve it on a bed of lettuce or use it as a sandwich filling.
