Buddhism in a Nutshell

The Teaching:

Everything is temporary (impermanent).
Everything is dependent upon something else.
There is stress, anxiety, and a nagging insecurity.

The Practice:

Seeing everything as it is without the filters of belief, opinion, want, wish, or conditioned response.

The Buddha was able to free himself from conditioned response. He experienced phenomena as it is, without wrapping it in opinion, desire, or wish.

This is the practice of Buddhism, to become aware and with that awareness to realize the freedom to make choices without falling back on conditioned response.

The Teachings and the Practice of Buddhism help us respond with Compassion and Wisdom and not fall into living on the automatic pilot of habit.
