A Thief in the Night

Youth and health help us ignore the reality of death. But death is coming. To ignore the inevitable is to deceive oneself. To be cowed by the inevitable is to ignore life.

Live a full life, but prepare for its end.

Enjoy the beauties of life, but prepare for its end.

And the end may be sudden, may be unexpected.

Tell those you love, you love them.

If there are material things you want to pass on to specific people, leave instructions for the disposition of your property.

Pay your bills, don't leave them for some one else.
